Great Location. I first learned of this park on YouTube to honor a 14 year child by the name of, "DeSean".Whom was killed in a hit and run accident. My condolences go out to his immediate family & friends. I pray the suspect will be brought to justice.
I like this park; so many trees, well kept, lots of activities for all ages. Quite for a nice walk.
I am easily in the top 5 of best basketball players that uses this park. Sometimes you will meet a guy named Casey who plays there. Don't believe a word he says. He calls fouls if you barley touch him. He thinks his hook is his best move but it's just luck. Also he will argue every call.
This is our favorite park in the area. We often go here after school when the weather is reasonable. The bathrooms are decently clean. Their are lots of trees and the air is nicer and a bit cooler than other parks in Sac. In the afternoon the smaller playground gets lots of shade. Behind the playgrounds is a field with a walking path and lots of people walk their dogs here. Favorite local spot.
Good place for a kids birthday party. They have covered picnic tables and a good sized playground for the kids to play on
