The Farmers Market on Sunday is great people are really nice and friendly and helpful and they got nice tennis courts there too
It's a great disk golf park as well.
Fun night! Went for 1st time last year and really enjoyed it. Fireworks show was really nice. Crowd wasnt bad either. Its obviously very popular as the last few hours was extremely crowded. Drawbacks - not enough food/drink vendors. Definitely not enough restrooms; from about 7:00 on the line just got bigger and bigger. Waited about 20 minutes to get into one. Should have gone earlier when there were very few people in line.
Utilizing the Veterans Hall, in Carmichael Park. The assigning agency needs to allow more Veteran groups, it's use.
Carmichael Park is a great place to go! By yourself or with others. It's free, can't beat that! For me the best part is the small yet comfy-cozy "Flea Market"! It's on dependably every Sunday from 8a to 2-4p, rain or shine! Handicrafts, food - eat.there or take home, always an enjoyable minstrel playing music, fresh.produce, i personally love the homemade tamales (delightful!) (;
